The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are two specimens of European driving distinction. As a part of the vast S-Class family, Mercedes-Benz introduces the new facelifted 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet that boast the same innovations and design flourishes of their updated sedan counterpart.
Inside and out, the updated vehicle has been enhanced with innovative technological implementations and performance tweaks. New OLED tail lamps come as standard throughout the range, weaving wafer-thin layers of organic materials onto a glass plate designed to illuminate even the darkest back alleys with different levels of intensity to accommodate for driving conditions and ambient day and night brightness. In terms of performance, there’s a selection of V8 and V12 engines to power the Coupe and Cabriolet through even the windiest of streets.
The Coupe and Cabriolet features extended driver assistance systems, a newly designed steering wheel, three new luxury interior trims, and integrated ENERGIZING Comfort control for both driver and passengers. The improved virtual display puts instruments and data directly in the driver’s field of vision, while the all digital cockpit that can be changed through three different styles to suit your taste: Classic, Sports, and Progressive.
Both the Coupe and Cabriolet will be available in standard S560 4MATIC, AMG S63, and AMG S65 variants, with distinctive appearance packages for each model. The new S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet will premiere at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show this month, and will be available in the U.S. sometime next year.
