While the Ferrari name innately conjures imagery of luxurious and breathtaking cars, the 1975 Ferrari 308 Dino GT4 “Safari” Coupe is in a class all its own. From the very start of its introduction at the Paris Motor Show in 1973, the car’s unique character — which is primed for adventure — shined through.
Its red and black body sits atop a chassis that’s based on the Dino 246 GT which is altered to include rear seats. The 1975 Ferrari 308 Dino GT4 “Safari” Coupe was the Italian automaker’s first 2+2 that also boasted a mid-engine. That engine is a quad-cam 3.0-liter V8 that churns out 240 hp. This car can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds, onward to a top speed of 154 mph.
Painstakingly refurbished, the original seats have been outfitted with Repa four-point seat belts and an external cage over the rear bumper is included. This Dino can handle rough terrain just as easily as it eats up the blacktop.
