A sensation upon its initial release in 1966, the Lamborghini Miura has endured as one of the most beloved designs in the history of motorsports. On top of that reputation, the P400 is widely regarded as the finest example of the Miura.
So it is with great excitement that the international collector car dealer Auxietre & Schmidt presents a 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 with an exceptional pedigree. After passing through the hands of multiple owners, this vehicle was purchased by highly reputed classic car collector Thierry De Mascureau. Since he took custody of the Lamborghini its exterior has been restored to its original Rosso Miura Acrilico color and cleaned up for show at the 1997 Pebble Beach Concorso Italiano, where it ultimately took home first-in-class honors.
The owner of this rare Miura P400 also contracted the Lamborghini specialists at Formula GT in Munich and P3 Automobiles in Cannes to perform extensive service work. The result is an exceptionally well-maintained classic Lamborghini that will be sold with the peace of mind brought by over 25 years of detailed records documenting its full service history. With only 19,832 km on the odometer and its original stunning 3420 chassis intact, Auxietre and Schmidt offer prospective buyers a chance to own one of the most iconic sports cars in history whose timeless aesthetic is just as jaw-dropping today as it was when its design was conceptualized over 50 years ago.
