The 114th of just 200 models ever manufactured, this 1966 Ferrari 275 GTS underwent a transmission replacement during its earliest days. Diligent upkeep let the V12 engine mated to a five-speed rear-mounted manual transmission keep producing 263 hp at 7,000 rpm. The car’s chassis has a multi-tubular frame connected by oval tubes, representing a first for a roadworthy Ferrari.
After being imported to the United Kingdom in the 1980s, the car’s interior was reupholstered with red and black leather. After being acquired by a Swiss collector, the car received the Ferrari Classiche Certification of Authenticity in 2007 before being sold to its current owner. From 2012 through 2013, the 275 GTS was painstakingly restored in its entirety by Roelofs Engineering, a distinguished Ferrari expert. At that time, the car was reinvisioned in an elegant Nero finish with a new Cognac leather interior. Roelofs Engineering also tuned the Ferrari and its Classiche Certification was updated to reflect its current condition.
