Since its 1963 introduction in the industry, the Yema Superman has been available in several versions. However, this present collaboration between Worn & Wound and the French brand Yema is a historic first. As a result, the Yema x Worn & Wound Superman Maxi Dial Limited Edition brings a modern touch to the 1960s dive watch of a bygone era. This timepiece is focused on the “maxi” design theme that was the impetus for Superman II, which had some of the largest dive markers ever featured on a dial. The Yema x Worn & Wound Superman Maxi Dial Limited Edition pays homage to this feature as it also has highly legible oversized markers similar to those found on the Superman II.
Shipping in late February, with only 300 available pieces, the Yema x Worn & Wound Superman Maxi Dial Limited Edition is powered by the YEMZ2000 caliber, which ensures accurate timekeeping and is the newest generation of proprietary movements offered by Yema. This 39mm chronograph is water-resistant up to 300m, has a 42-hour power reserve and features the characteristic Yema bracket on the crown that locks the bezel securely in place. This premier collaboration between Yema and Worn & Wound features military-influenced details with a two-tone back and grey color scheme. A rugged yet classic dive design of brushed stainless steel and glass box sapphire crystal completes the timepiece and exudes an ideal combination of function and form.
