The watch pays homage to the first Yema Superman editions of the 1960s and ‘70s, created for professional rescue divers and pilots of the French Air Force. This redesigned version represents a new chapter of the Superman brand and that decades-old relationship, unveiled in collaboration with the Armee de l’Air to honor the divers and fighter pilots that serve under the branch.
First dibs on this limited-edition watch will go to French Air Force personnel, but otherwise this water-resistant beauty — offered in gleaming steel or a PVD coated chic black model — is up for grabs. Each version provides the options between a 39mm or 41mm case. No matter which size you choose, the latest Superman is powered by a self-winding movement with a 45-hour power reserve that’s made in-house. Yema has limited its production of both versions to approximately 2,000 of each. The matte black dial includes the Armee de l’Air logo and, at 6 o’clock, an insignia in France’s national colors. Presented in a leather French Air Force-branded travel case and including an official pilot watch canvas strap alongside a steel one, the Yema Superman French Air Force Collector’s Limited Edition offers a stunning appearance from the moment you unwrap it.
