WaterField just released the WaterField Designs Verve Laptop Briefcase. The company says it’s the first product in their Sandbox Series, inspired by a V-shaped asymmetric fold, resulting in a distinctive design highlighting both form and function. WaterField’s Creative Officer, Amyel, explains that the company found inspiration in how a single fold can transform a square into interesting design possibilities. The design uses a notch in the fold to emphasize a diagonal shape. The WaterField Designs Verve Laptop Briefcase features a soft, full-grain leather-wrapped handle that becomes more supple and comfortable with age. It also includes an adjustable, removable Supreme Suspension shoulder strap.

What’s more, WaterField offers this briefcase in a choice of ballistic nylon or a waxed canvas body. Its front asymmetric fold pocket incorporates two sub-pockets to access frequently used items easily and provides weight distribution with a closed-cell foam shell to protect contents. WaterField says the body helps distribute its weight evenly and adds structure.

This compact briefcase boasts features that fans have come to expect from the brand, such as padded pockets to accommodate two devices, full-grain leather accents, a visible gold liner lighting up the interior and increasing visibility, and there’s a slot for using carry-on handles. Not only that, but the WaterField Designs Verve Laptop Briefcase features water-resistant YKK zippers with custom metal pulls that open from either side.

The laptop briefcase is a limited edition and is available for only ten days until February 17th on the WaterField Designs website.
