Marvel Studios And Disney+ Bring WandaVision To The Small Screen

‘WandaVision,’ a blend of ‘50s sitcom and Marvel action, will give viewers an experience unlike any other.

Disney+ has released the trailer to the highly anticipated limited series, WandaVision, and it’s creating quite the stir. The trailer takes the form of a quirky ‘50s sitcom with big Marvel action. Taking place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series features Wanda (aka Scarlet Witch) and Vision (the robotic Avenger). The two, played by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, have had supporting roles in the Avengers world for years. WandaVision puts them front and center as two powerful other-worldly beings living romanticized suburban lives – but are they?

For the very first time, Marvel Studios is streaming a series exclusively on Disney+. The series is expected to run between six and eight episodes, with a release date sometime in December 2020. Foreshadowing the trajectory of WandaVision, Wanda asks Vision, “We are an unusual couple, you know?” He responds, “Oh, I don’t think that was ever in question.”
