Unimatic recently released the exclusive Unimatic U1S-M, a limited edition Modello Uno model with only 500 pieces being produced. This sleek Italian dive watch that is part of the brand’s S-Series is equipped with a matte black “blank” dial that features the glow-in-the-dark Unimatic logo with black hands that are filled with white C1 Super-LumiNova. A reverse lollipop second hand with a Super-LumiNova C1 white tip completes the watch face. The U1S-M is powered by the automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, assuring a step up in terms of accuracy. At the same time, using the Sellita movement has made it possible to use a case for the U1S-M that is 10 percent thinner than previous models. The S-M stands for Slim Minimal, and that means a mere 11.6mm in height for this watch with a 41.5mm case.
The Unimatic U1S-M has a double domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal to provide the best performance in various light conditions. What’s more, the U1S-M has a 2mm thick case back and an ample 8mm crown with high-quality gaskets. The watch’s case is constructed of 316 brushed stainless steel and is water-resistant to 300 meters. Additionally, the Unimatic U1S-M comes on a black two-piece calf leather strap, along with an extra black seatbelt NATO strap with stainless steel brushed hardware. Unimatic signs the stainless-steel brushed hardware case back with conversion scale engraving. Each Unimatic U1S-M has an individual progressive number indicating its authenticity and place in the limited edition of 500 pieces.
