Todd Snyder and Randolf Engineering just dropped the Todd Snyder x Randolph Engineering Collection. The collection is an exclusive take on Randolph Engineering’s iconic Aviator, with choices in frames including 23 karat gold, Matte Black, Gunmetal, or the company’s new Military Olive. The Todd Snyder x Randolph Engineering Collection features design details like the Aviator bayonet-style temples that bend, a durable enamel top coat, SkyTec glass polarized lenses with Vector Anti-Reflective, and Blue Wave lens technology. Randolph founders Jan Waszkiewicz and Stanley Zaleski met at a machine shop in South Boston, where they learned the optical trade and developed their engineering skills. Then, in the 1970s, they founded their company, making eyewear in Randolph, Massachusetts.

Randolph Engineering began working with the military to create durable sunglasses for test pilots. Randolph Engineering’s HGU-4/P Aviator sunglasses were innovative and stylish enough for the Don Drapers of the world. Now, Randolph is partnering with longtime fan Todd Snyder to produce four exclusive styles made from jewelry quality metals. Todd Snyder launched his label in 2011, offering limited-edition designs and innovative capsule collections in partnership with brands such as New Balance and Timex. Each of the iconic Aviators in the exclusive Todd Snyder x Randolph Engineering Collection comes with a custom case, along with a cleaning cloth boasting Snyder’s signature camouflage print.
