Todd Snyder and New Balance have had a long-running collaboration and now the two brands are about to release a limited-edition sneaker dubbed the NB992 10th Anniversary, representing a celebration of Snyder’s tenth year in business. This new running shoe, a long-time favorite of Steve Jobs, is a luxe refresh of New Balance’s popular style 992. Speaking about his inspiration for this new shoe Snyder says, “New York and its skyline have been a long-standing inspiration for me, and gray has been a signature color in our design since the beginning,” said Snyder. “So, for our 10th anniversary, I wanted to create a version of the 992 that felt like a favorite room in a skyscraper, a sort of gentleman’s library—a couch, bookshelves, a fireplace, and a bar cart.”
The Todd Snyder x New Balance 992 10th Anniversary Limited Edition stays in line with its mixture of grays in vegetable-tanned leather. Featuring ‘2011’ on the left heel and ‘2021’ on the right, the shoe boasts subtle accents of soft tangerine and silver and has a white and taupe midsole. The NB992 10th Anniversary comes with three shoelace color options, all in shades of white and gray, and will be available for pre-order on December 1st.
