The latest beverage from Danish craft brewer To Øl lives up to its reputation for complex beers packaged in unique cans. The To Øl Fogged Up IPA is a protein-heavy beer made with 40 percent oat and wheat, dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops. The Citra adds lots of refreshing citrus notes while Mosaic gives the IPA a ripe, tropical taste.
The name of the beer comes from the London Fog yeast used that gives it a hazy appearance while countering the brighter flavors. The Imperial / Double IPA has an 8% ABV and features aromas of tropical fruits, citruses, resin, and pine. The half-liter can carries the foggy theme through, with a simple design featuring a stained glass window theme.
