The James Brand recently unveiled their newest American-made folding knife, The James Brand Kline. This hardwearing folding knife is a workhorse featuring a removable and reversible carry clip design to accommodate right or left-hand carry. The Kline boasts the trademarked Slide-Lock locking mechanism with a full-liner construction providing a side-spring to open with one hand easily. No need to reposition it. The company says Kline is the first folder it has manufactured with MagnaCut®, a new ultra-corrosion resistant stainless steel.

Master bladesmith Larrin Thomas created MagnaCut to ensure durability and sharp edge retention. In fact, Thomas wrote the book on blade steel engineering, titled Knife Engineering. He says the blade is the heart of a knife, and his mission in creating The James Brand’s Kline EDC steel was to develop stainless steel that was as tough and durable as carbon steels. MagnaCut is the result of this combination of corrosion resistance and durability. The knife’s overall length is 7.8- inches, with a 3.5-inch blade, perfect for everyday carry. Finally, the textured Micarta handle will hold up against the elements and provide an excellent grip, even when wet. The Kline is The James Brand’s third USA-made knife, and its reputation is growing fast. Fans can sign up on The James Brand site to get notified when The Kline launches.
