The James Brand has recently released the Ellis Slim, the newest member of the Ellis and Elko family of slip-joint pocket knives. The Ellis Slim is a remarkably thin 8mm across, narrower across its scales than a pack of gum. This sleek, versatile little pocket knife ditches the scissors of its bigger brother to make it the slimmest, simplest pocket knife possible.
It features the same Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel that is featured on the standard Ellis and Elko. Available in straight-bladed and serrated versions, the knife comes with either G10 or aluminum scales. Included is the TJB All-Things prybar and scraper. All-Things is a versatile tool that scrapes stickers, pries nails, and turns flat-head screws. The All-Things tool gives you a convenient way to hang your Ellis Slim knife on your keychain, or you can use the wire carry clip to hold it in your pocket until needed.
Weighing in at only 1.8 ounces, the Ellis Slim has a blade length of 1.6 inches and an overall length of 6.5 inches. The knife is available now on The James Brand’s website starting at $99.
