TAG Heuer has introduced the Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf, a limited-edition motorsport watch that brings the Gulf racing palette into the brand’s newly sharpened Formula 1 collection.

The watch arrives as TAG Heuer continues to lean into its motorsport ties, pairing the collection’s bold 44mm proportions with one of endurance racing’s most recognizable liveries. Gulf’s blue and orange stripes run across the black opalin dial, joined by three chronograph counters, applied indexes, and an orange central seconds hand. The result is intentionally energetic, but it stays grounded in the practical language of a racing chronograph.

The case is sandblasted Grade 2 titanium with black DLC coating, keeping the watch lighter than a comparable steel case while reinforcing the technical character of the design. A fixed forged carbon bezel carries the tachymeter scale, giving the piece a more contemporary edge than earlier Gulf-themed Formula 1 references. TAG Heuer pairs the case with a sandblasted titanium bracelet and folding clasp, rather than the fabric strap used on some previous Gulf editions.

Inside is the automatic Calibre 16, a familiar TAG Heuer chronograph movement with a 48-hour power reserve. The watch includes running seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters, a date display, a screw-down crown, and 200 meters of water resistance. The case measures 14.5mm thick with a 47.3mm lug-to-lug distance, making it a substantial but wearable sports chronograph.
Limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph x Gulf is priced at $6,300. For collectors, the appeal is clear: Gulf livery, lightweight titanium, forged carbon, and a direct connection to TAG Heuer’s racing identity in one sharply packaged release.
