The British technology company has beaten the BMW-affiliated Mini to the punch when it comes to releasing an electric version of the modern Mini Hatch. Of course, the official electric Mini Hatch release is bound to be bigger (as Swind is limiting the production run of this car to just 100 units). However, it will strain to meet the overall quality of the Swind E Classic Mini.

Built on the restored body of an original Mini, each of these cars houses a 24 kWh battery that drives an electric motor and a zero-emission powertrain. Exceptionally light, particularly for an electric vehicle, the Swind E Classic Mini can go from 0 to 62 miles per hour in 9.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 80 miles per hour. It can travel up to 124 miles on a single 4-hour charge. Other upgrades to the original Mini model include a regenerative braking system, underfloor and seat heating, internal USB ports, and a 200-liter trunk capacity thanks to the removal of its obsolete gas tank.
