Mini is back in the spotlight with the unveiling of its latest offerings for 2025 – the MINI Cooper S & C Models. Following the successful launch of the electric Cooper E and SE models, Mini enthusiasts can now celebrate as the gasoline-powered counterparts hit the market in two distinct flavors for the three-door models.
Under the hood, the US-spec Mini Cooper Hardtop three-door models are equipped with a robust 2.0-liter four-cylinder internal combustion engine. The sportier Cooper S churns out an impressive 201 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque, enhancing the hatchback’s performance with a sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds.
Design-wise, the fifth-generation 2025 Mini Cooper S & C Models embrace a minimalist aesthetic, drawing inspiration from its electric counterparts. Notable features include a sleek exterior sans the vented octagonal grille and an array of LED lighting options, including customizable DRLs and matrix LED taillights.
Inside, the cabin reflects a blend of innovation and functionality. The gear selector now resides within a toggle bar, while the center console boasts a wireless charging pad and a 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment display dubbed the Mini Interaction Unit.
Technological advancements abound in the 2025 Mini Cooper S & C Models, with features like the Safe Exit function, Mini Navigation, Driving Assistant Plus package, and the Intelligent Personal Assistant (IPA) named Spike, offering seamless integration of voice control for navigation, entertainment, and more.
With production set to begin soon, the Mini Cooper S three-door will hit the market with a starting price of $32,000, while the Mini Cooper C will follow suit in July 2024, starting at $28,950. Mini enthusiasts can expect an exciting journey ahead with these latest additions to the iconic lineup.
