Suunto, the Finnish company known for its sports watches and precision instruments, is set to launch a series of technical products in collaboration with District Vision. Los Angeles-based District Vision has been in business since 2016 and specializes in Japanese handmade technical active eyewear as well as European-made tech apparel.

The Suunto x District Vision product release has just debuted with a Cordura Eyewear Pouch and a Cordura Shoe Bag. Both bags will be supplemented with a Suunto micro compass. Future Suunto x District Vision product releases will take place in 2024.

The Cordura Eyewear Pouch and Cordura Shoe Bag are both knitted in Kyoto, Japan using a special Japanese knitting method. The knitting method uses slow machine knitting to create a 540g mesh that is resistant to pulls, tears, and abrasion, resulting in an extra durable weave. Both the pouch and bag are lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for the on-the-go. These pouches and bags can easily fit inside a backpack, or luggage, or can be carried standalone. The bags are sealed with a sturdy technical zipper to keep the contents safe.

The Suunto compass that’s included with each bag and pouch is trademark Suunto quality, featuring liquid-filled jewel bearings. The compass is made in Finland with 100% renewable energy. The shoe bag retails for $170 and the pouch for $100.
