Stone Island Ghost Pieces Collection is all about the concept of camouflage, according to the company. The collection includes monochromatic colored jackets, fleece wear, knitwear, pants, and T-shirts. Stone Island even created a custom monochromatic version of the signature black, green, and yellow compass patch logo to blend with the garments. Outerwear items in the Stone Island Ghost Pieces collection feature three layers. A stretch wool flannel, a breathable, waterproof two-way stretch membrane, and an outer run-proof nylon mesh. Some outerwear pieces also provide a detachable lining.
The Stone Island Ghost Pieces collection offers this season’s lighter garments in nylon moleskin on the outside and cotton inside. Additionally, the collection includes cargo pants in stretch cotton wool satin, garment-dyed in dark brown, with a regular tapered fit. The in-seam hand pockets feature zipper fastening and one slit pocket with hidden snap fastening on the back. There is also a pocket with a hidden snap fastening under a horizontal seam on the legs. Each piece in the Ghost Pieces Collection promises style and comfort. Massimo Osti founded Stone Island in 1982, and Carlo Rivetti has co-run the business since 1983. This Italian label established itself in the market with a heavily stonewashed, tarpaulin-like fabric called Tela Stella. As the brand grew, Stone Island clothing’s signature black, green, and yellow compass patch logo became synonymous with terrace-casual style.
