Premium bicycle manufacturer Specialized unveiled a new carbon hybrid frame for its Sirrus line of bikes meant to improve comfort and maneuverability. The new carbon Specialized Sirrus X 5.0 and 6.0, feature a cutting-edge frame called the Compliance Junction, which removes half of the bike’s seat tube.
This new carbon bike frame design is said to improve rider comfort by offering better flexibility. Moreover, the carbon Specialized Sirrus X features bespoke suspension to reduce harsh vibrations from the road to the handlebars. As a result, riders can experience better performance with less fatigue.
The frame is constructed from FACT (Functional Advanced Composite Technology) 9r carbon composite. Features on the Specialized line of carbon Sirrus X bikes include double-butted handlebars, a body geometry Power Sport saddle with steel rails, and Tektro HD-R510 hydraulic disc brakes. In addition to Pathfinder Pro, 2Bliss Ready 700x38mm tires wrapped around 700c aluminum wheels. The bike’s 12-speed running gear is mainly supplied by SRAM, including the rear derailleur, chain, bottom bracket, crankset, cassette, and shift lever.
You can order a Specialized Sirrus X 5.0 in a range of sizes from XS to XXL and offered in one of two color options: Satin Red Tint or Gloss White Mountains.
