Singer Vehicle Design made a name for itself in the automotive community through bespoke restorations of classic Porsche 911s. Building a Singer Porsche 911 goes above and beyond by adding disc brakes and air conditioning. Now, it has unveiled the Singer Porsche 911 Turbo Study, its first road-going turbocharged Porsche 911 “reimagined” by Singer. The car responds to the increasing demand of owners wanting to restore their Porsche 911 Turbos, and over 70 cars have been reserved to be restored by Singer.

The Singer Porsche 911 Turbo Study works with each owner to restore their vehicle for the modern world with a focus on grand touring and use the Type 964 as a platform. The bodywork on the finished example shown by Singer is made out of carbon fiber and painted Wolf Blue. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing over 450-hp and controlled via a six-speed manual transmission. Of course, the power output differs depending on the owner’s preference. Moreover, the Singer Porsche 911 Turbo retains its traditional rear-wheel-drive configuration, but owners can opt for an all-wheel-drive conversion. Additional performance parts include carbon-ceramic brakes, sports-tuned exhaust, and a touring-focused suspension.

The interior in this particular Singer Porsche 911 Turbo is finished in Malibu Sand with Black Forest trim. Upgrades include air condition, electric heated seats, ABS, traction control, and enhanced noise reduction. People can see the Singer Porsche 911 Turbo in the summer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. Afterward, it will sail across the ocean to attend the Monterey Peninsula in Northern California for Car Week in August.
