Running headphones rarely need more drama; they need to stay put, survive weather, and leave traffic audible. The Shokz OpenRun Air 2 focuses squarely on that brief with a smaller frame, longer battery life, and updated bone-conduction hardware.

At 26.4 grams in standard size, the neckband is more than nine percent smaller than the original OpenRun. Its center of gravity shifts forward to reduce bounce, and standard and Mini options address different head sizes without introducing a separate feature hierarchy. IP67 protection allows the headset to handle rain, sweat, and rinsing, although Shokz does not rate it for swimming.

PremiumPitch 3.0 uses an all-metal dual-coil, dual-reed driver structure to strengthen bass and raise mid-to-high-frequency sensitivity. Four EQ modes, multipoint Bluetooth 6.0, app controls, physical buttons, and wind-resistant microphones keep the focus on practical training.

Battery life reaches 10 hours, while a five-minute top-off returns two hours of playback. Unlike a sealed noise-cancelling headphone, the design keeps environmental sound present by default.

The OpenRun Air 2 is available now in black or Ice Blue, with standard and Mini sizes priced at $129.95.
