Royal Enfield unveiled a new variant to the popular Himalayan model called the Scram 411. This new Royal Enfield motorcycle looks ready to take on any adventure in the urban landscape. The Royal Enfield Scram 411 carries the same drive train based on the Himalayan. The two significant mechanical differences between the two bikes are the Scram 411 has slightly lower suspension travel, about 7.5-inches, and an upgraded 21-inch front wheel. This change in wheel size aims to help improve the bike’s handling characteristics when riding in the concrete jungle.
As mentioned, the Scram 411 uses the same engine as the Himalayan, an air-cooled 411cc producing 24.3-hp and 23.6 lb.-ft of torque. The chassis design and 41mm forks with mono shocks at the rear are the same as on the Himalayan. In terms of visual differences, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 features a more minimalist aesthetic with a new single-piece seat. Its 3.3-gallon fuel tank offers an estimated 250 miles of range and comes in various eye-catching paint schemes. The Royal Enfield Scram 41 is set to arrive in dealers by summer 2022. However, at this time, pricing has not been announced. This summer sounds like the perfect season for an adventure in this street-tough bike with knobby tires.
