The Ristretto 512 First Edition is a limited luxury electric bike with off-road capability. It’s a “new perspective” on personal electric mobility. Offered in two sizes, the A20 and A24, and available in four different colors, the 512 aims to be cutting-edge mobility with the battery power to back it up.
The e-bike’s BLDC X1 Pro Gen 3 motor generates up to 3500 watts of power, or 185 lb.-ft of torque, to travel up to 40 mph. However, its performance depends on the ride mode ranging from pedal-assist up to 20 mph to a street-legal power setting at 28 mph and the exclusive “Race Mode,” which provides full power. The range in pedal-assist mode is estimated at 100 miles, while throttle-only riding offers 45 miles using a 30Ah battery pack machined using aluminum alloys to ensure heat dissipation.
The Ristretto 512 First Edition all-terrain prowess features KKE dual crown inverted front forks and dual DNM MK-AR rear shocks. As a result, the front suspension offers 80mm of travel while the rear provides 100 pounds of spring rate per shock and 40mm of travel. The wheels are wrapped in Milehigh M20 EV+ tires and stopped by Tektro Auriga e-bike hydraulic brakes.
Moreover, the Ristretto 512 First Edition comes standard with a host of features like integrated LED head and taillights, a water-resistant saddle, turn signals, a horn, and a 3.5-inch color TFT screen with a micro-USB port. Only 400 examples of the Ristretto 512 First Edition will be available, and Ristretto is currently accepting deposits.
