If you’ve been wondering where Lexus’ design was headed in recent years, with flamboyant lines and over-the-top grills dominating their recent design language, maybe the 2017 Lexus LC 500 will put your mind at ease. Revealed at the 2016 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the two door flagship Lexus is not quite ready for production yet, but it shows off its near production guise with pride.
The swooping lines and sharp angles are all familiar Lexus design cues, but the familiar details are accentuated and look more at home on the LC 500’s svelte body. The gorgeous cabin is more concept-car-like than ever before, embracing its Japanese heritage by being unconventional yet futuristic. Slated to go into production next year, this might be the first car in a while from Lexus that makes us feel excited.
