The brand’s latest product, Charlie 25 is an expandable, multi-access laptop backpack. While some backpacks are made for the trail and others for everyday use around the city, the Charlie 25 seeks to be used as a compact 20-liter pack that’s perfect for school and work, all while transforming into a bigger 25-liter backpack when you need the extra room. Even better, you can tack on a pair of external storage pouches to beef it up to a full 30 liters, making it viable for those times you need a large bag to haul your gear and supplies on the trail.
The Charlie 25 is made of VX21 and VX42 X-PAC™ composite laminated fabrics. These textiles are made of multiple layers of materials to keep the bag lightweight but extremely durable and water-resistant. In addition, all access points have been designed for weather resistance and all exterior panels feature water-resistant YKK® Aquaguard® zippers. The Charlie 25 also features Triple-Cavity Organization. Pull open the break-out pockets and there are three separate spaces to segment gear, all easily accessed from up top. These compartments are perfect for separating gym clothes, trekking poles, or even a huge water bottle. Remote Equipment is now taking pre-orders for the Charlie 25, with shipment anticipated in February 2021.
