A giant in the world of eyewear fashion that has been doing business for more than 80 years, Ray-Ban made a huge splash in the mid-1950s with the introduction of its iconic Wayfarer and RB4380N models. Now these classic designs are getting a dramatic makeover with the upcoming release of the Wayfarer and RB4380N Blaze editions.
In addition to its refined use of bold color and sharp lines, the Ray-Ban Blaze Collection is defined by its innovative lens-over-frame construction. The collection also employs transparent frames that cause them to illuminate gently in any ambient light. Building upon of the most recognizable sunglass designs in history, the Wayfarer Blaze is absolutely striking, covering the glasses’ trademark trapezoidal frame with gradient lenses and colorful luminescence. The iconic round shape of the Ray-Ban RB4380N also looks great in the new Blaze edition.
Although both the Wayfarer and RB4380N Ray-Bans are still in pre-release, they will soon join a full line of Blaze sunglasses to build upon what Ray-Ban is calling “the brightest collection ever.” Designs that that have already received the full Blaze treatment include the Ray-Ban Aviator, the Ray-Ban Clubmaster, and the Ray-Ban Cat Eye.
