Land Rover reveals their latest addition to their family of Range Rover crossovers and SUVs, the Range Rover Velar. It’s minimalist design at its finest, wearing Land Rover’s most aerodynamic sheet metal to date. The minimalist theme counties inside, where the beautifully crafted interior is elegant and clutter-free. A new 10-inch display sits below the infotainment system, with stunning graphics that adapt to the function you’re using.
The Velar is still very much a Range Rover, with impressive off-roading capabilities. Available with only all-wheel-drive, the Velar utilizes Terrain Response II to clear whatever Mother Nature can throw at it, with an impressive wading depth of 26.5-inches. The light-weight aluminum architecture ensures impressive on-road dynamics as well. On offer are a range of engines to choose from, topped by a supercharged V6 engine that produces 380-hp, propelling the Velar to 60 in just 5.3 seconds. Power is sent to the wheels via Land Rover’s proven 8-speed automatic.
Slated to fit into the lineup between the Evoque and the Range Rover Sport, the new Range Rover Velar will go on sale starting this summer, priced between $50,895 and $90,295.
