Bestselling author and Renaissance Man, David Coggins has again collaborated with Huckberry to design the limited-edition ‘Sawtooth’ shoe, handmade by footwear and leather goods company, Rancourt. The Rancourt & Co. The Coggins ‘Sawtooth’ Shoe takes its inspiration from Ernest Hemingway’s old haunts in and around the towns at the base of Idaho’s Sawtooth Mountains. A seasoned fisherman and experienced outdoorsman, Coggins recently spent time in Hemingway’s stomping grounds and conceived of the idea to develop a new look for the timeless moccasin silhouette.
Handcrafted in Lewiston, Maine by the legendary bootmakers at Rancourt, the ‘Sawtooth’ shoe’s uppers are constructed from Horween’s Natural Chromexcel – a beautiful undyed pull-up leather that ages wonderfully with an unmatched patina. The Lactae Hevea outsoles are made in France from 100 percent natural latex, offering extra support and traction for all surfaces. Built to last a lifetime, the Rancourt & Co. The Coggins ‘Sawtooth’ Shoe is unlined for comfort and extreme breathability. The uppers quickly mold to the foot, requiring very little break-in time. Available exclusively at Huckberry, this limited-edition shoe will likely sell out quickly.
