Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey

Given the opportunity to craft his own whisky, Conor McGregor certainly didn’t take things lightly.

Conor McGregor’s reputation for knocking out his competitors in the ring is rivaled only by his reputation for the finer things in life — exceptional cars, high fashion, and great whiskey. Now, McGregor is paying homage to his childhood neighborhood by releasing an Irish whiskey that references the Crumlin postal code Dublin 12.

However, Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey is far more than a celebrity vanity project. Given the opportunity to craft his own whisky, he certainly didn’t take things lightly.

After an extensive search for others who “shared the same passion for Ireland and its whiskey,” McGregor found a home in the oldest whiskey distillery in the country. Working closely with his master distiller, he embarked on a long process of trial and error, ultimately producing a sweet Irish grain and single malt whisky blend that balances earthy notes of toasted wood with hints of vanilla and honey-like sweetness.
