The Pagani Imola is a variant of the Huayra — albeit one that’s been re-engineered to be more hardcore than the original. Featuring a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine and an Xtrac seven-speed automated manual transmission, the Imola powers out 827 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque. The new Smart Gas system reduces the shift times while improving performance.
Its monocoque chassis is reinforced with carbon-titanium and carbon-triaxial materials. This is supported by a unique suspension system that includes active, interconnected dampers. The central electronic unit is also brand-new and is designed to handle the transmission, engine, differential and active aero systems.
The Acquarello Light paint reduces the car’s weight without sacrificing the color’s depth, richness, and shine. The chrome-molybdenum steel, aluminum, and titanium alloys are among the 770 new components that have been CNC machined or forged in an effort to keep the Imola’s weight down to just 2,746 pounds.
