While the world of single malt Scotch is packed full of options, one of the most unique releases in recent memory is the Orphan Barrel Forager’s Keep 26 Year Old Single Malt Scotch whisky. What makes the Forager’s Keep 26 Year Old Scotch whisky interesting is that it’s being released by the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. If you notice the differences in spelling, you’ll know it isn’t from Scotland. That’s because Orphan Barrel is an American company first opened in 2014. However, it bought out the whisky reserve of the short-lived and now-defunct Pittyvaich distillery in Speyside. No longer being produced, this is a rare offering indeed.
A fruity and creamy whisky with a 48% ABV, this single malt Scotch whisky will hit stores beginning in June 2019 and will have a suggested price of $399.
