If you’re against the whole “luxury sports watch” idea (who in the world plays sports while wearing an expensive watch?), Oris has something for you. Unlike many luxury sports watches that may be heavy on the “luxury” but woefully light on the “sports,” the Oris Dive Control Limited Edition is worthy of the most serious of divers. Created in collaboration with the Swiss commercial/industrial diver Roman Frischknecht, this watch is specifically developed for rugged subsea work by dedicated professionals.
Technically, to be called a dive watch, a watch needs to have 200 meters of water resistance. The Oris Dive Control is pressure-resistant up to an incredible 1,000 meters. It features a 51mm black titanium case, automatic chronograph movement, patented Rotation Safety System (which locks the dive bezel during a dive), and two interchangeable straps of black and yellow rubber. Oris even throws in a set of strap changing tools. This Oris Dive Control is limited to 500 pieces.
