The original Olympus PEN-F camera from 1963 quickly gained a loyal following, thanks to its beautiful, yet simple and small design. Olympus now releases it’s spiritual and digital successor after 53 years, that captures the same simple design of the original, with some added modern tech.
The new Olympus PEN-F is a rangefinder style camera perfect for street shooters that are design conscious. Its sleek body is made from machined aluminum and magnesium, available in both silver and black, with a faux-leather wrap just like the original design. Although vintage in design, its hardware is nothing but, with a 20 megapixel live MOS sensor, in-body image stabilization, and an interactive OLED viewfinder to name a few. Offered with an extensive line-up of interchangeable lenses, the new PEN-F should be the perfect companion for any street shooter or a great second camera for professionals.
