Few if any sneakers have ever claimed this kind of international pedigree. Handmade by the California-based independent footwear company No.One, the Delta Elk epitomizes the brand’s dedication to “the converging disciplines of art, craft and technology.”
But the origins of the Delta Elk extend to Scandinavia, where No.One sourced the wild elk hide that it uses to make the asymmetrical body panels of the Delta Elk’s distinctively textured uppers. This hide is prepared by the British tannery CF Stead and milled to produce the rough and ultra-soft surfaces that contrast each other so beautifully on the Delta Elk.
For an extra European touch, No.One finishes the Delta Elk with French plongé lambskin details on both the inner lining and tongue binding. Other features of this exceptional shoe include hand whip stitching, UV printed accents, and interchangeable Grey Cotton and White Waxed laces.
