You can’t talk about BMW without talking about its long history of motorcycles, and if you’re a lover of retro automotive designs with new-age technology, you’re going to love the NMOTO Nostalgia. This limited custom BMW looks straight out of the history books but comes with the high-end features you’d expect from a thoroughly modern bike.
The NMOTO Nostalgia is designed to replicate the look and feel of the classic BMW R7 from 1937. Though never put into production, the R7 did go on to inspire the R5 and R17 models. Of course, you can’t find an R7 these days, so NMOTO used BMW’s steadyseller R nineT as the base. It’s curious that the end product looks nothing like the R nineT.
With a full aluminum body based on the classic suspension and steering, the Nostalgia does take advantage of a modern BMW powertrain, adjustable softail suspension, LED turn signals, and keyless ignition, all while meeting the Euro 4 emission standards. A 1170cc blast from the past, we can’t really find a fault with this bike. Maybe the naming is a little too on the nose?
