Nike and Off-White’s latest collaboration, the Air Force 1 Mid ‘Pine Green,’ is set to hit stores at the end of April. The release was previously slated for March, but the date has been pushed back. The sneaker is a tribute to the late Virgil Abloh, who passed away in 2021 but continues to influence the sneaker world through his signature deconstructed design elements and bold branding.

The Air Force 1 Mid ‘Pine Green’ features a fresh green colorway and a graffiti-style ‘AIR’ on the tongue, as well as the signature Off-White zip tie. The midsole has a unique melting effect, and the outsole is inspired by running spikes. Other details include the candle motif and ‘OFF’ branding on the heel.

While Off-White has been relatively quiet on the Nike front in recent months, this release helps to expand the successful partnership’s legacy. The warped midsole and spike-laden outsole are tweaks to Bruce Kilgore’s original blueprint, while additional lacing and zip ties solidified Off-White’s signature design aesthetic. Abloh’s “Pine Green” proposition also introduces the new candlestick logo at the lateral heel, adding a personal touch from the Illinois-native designer.

The Nike x Off-White Air Force 1 Mid ‘Pine Green’ will be available in sizes 8US-13US, with no 11.5US or 12.5US sizes. The sneakers will retail for $185. Altogether, this collaboration is a testament to the lasting impression Virgil Abloh and Off-White have left on the sneaker world.
