On October 8th, Nike will release the latest shoe in its ISPA Collection, the Drifter Gator. This is an urban-inspired shoe with a utilitarian but sporty style. However, the Drifter Gator has a surprisingly practical addition: a zippered pouch on the rear of the shoe that houses a deployable, parachute-like material that shields the legs from messy weather conditions. Once it’s deployed, the gator forms a near weightless, protective layer around the legs to guard against dirt, mud, rain or any other assorted elements encountered. Upon arriving at your destination, simply pack the gator back in its pouch.
The ISPA Nike Drifter Gators are built from the very same patented foam compound that is used in their ZoomX shoes. This material ensures increased cushioning and support. The shoes will be available in two colorways, Summit White/Hyper Crimson and Coastal Blue/Volt.
