New Balance, famous for supported sports shoes, and Danner, known for its history of producing sturdy work boots, have created two different pairs of footwear both reflective of their respective histories, in the New Balance x Danner Collab.
The New Balance x Danner 995 in copper teal is a twist on the sneaker company’s famous model. Produced in New Balance’s Maine factory, the shoe uses premium nubuck leather uppers that have been sanded to give it a velvet-like feel, and then combined with stylish branded embossing and oxidized copper finished eyelets. Its ENCAP midsole cushioning provides the support and sustained durability the brand is famous for, whether on the track or on the trail.
Echoing the same copper patina as the 995’s, the Danner x New Balance Mountain Light Pioneer is a celebration of Danner’s boot making heritage. The shoe features the same premium nubuck leather uppers and oxidized copper hardware used in the sneakers. It’s an update on Danner’s classic Mountain Light hiking boots, manufactured in the brand’s Oregon factory. These boots deliver on comfort, performance, durability, and weather protection. Waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lines the inside of the boots, to prevent rain getting in while still allowing sweat and moisture to get out.
