The Moto Guzzi Tomoto by Tom Dixon is too heavy to hang on your wall. It is a motorcycle, after all, but it’s also a work of art. This bike was visually designed every bit as much as it was engineered. That’s why it has a prominent place – under dramatic lighting, we assume – at Design Week in Milan.

Untreated aluminum frame, geometric-patterned pop art wheel rims and the specially designed Tom Dixon headlight lamp are among the features and amenities upon which Design Week spectators will spectate.

The Moto Gruzzo Tomoto, a collaboration between noted British designer and avid motorcyclist Tom Dixon and custom motorcycle builder Stefano Venier, updates a classic. Pride in their dream and workmanship shows in the front and center branding. The words ‘Guzzo’ and ‘Tomoto’ are hand-painted in hot pink on the raw aluminum gas tank in a dripping paint motif. You can’t miss it. Your bike will attract attention, indeed.

However, if you plan to park it outside your favorite biker bar, we recommend tamping down your understandable urge to boast about how your Tomoto was feted at Design Week in Milan. Or that someone named Stefano played a key part in its resurrection. And, one more final piece of advice. You might want to consider covering up the hot pink logo motif.
