The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut takes a flavor rarely associated with the sherry-led distillery and makes it the centerpiece of the series’ final release.

The non-age-stated single malt derives its tropical character from cask selection rather than added flavoring. Sherry-seasoned American oak, chosen for its naturally high concentration of coconut-producing oak lactones, works with ex-bourbon casks to draw out fresh coconut, lime, mango, papaya, vanilla, sweet oak, and gentle spice. Bottled at 46.3% ABV, the whisky finishes with coconut and floral honey.

The sixth release also reunites The Macallan with Jordi Roca of El Celler de Can Roca, the pastry chef who helped introduce the Harmony Collection through its chocolate-inspired first chapter. Roca created accompanying sweet dishes for the TimeSpirit Dining Experience at The Macallan Estate, complemented by six serves and pairings built around the new whiskies.
Its travel-retail counterpart, Inspired by Toasted Coconut, uses predominantly virgin American oak and ex-bourbon casks for notes of toasted coconut, crème caramel, white chocolate, coconut truffle, lime marmalade, and frangipane. Both expressions arrive in black paper presentation boxes incorporating discarded coconut fibers, continuing the material-reuse approach of the preceding tea-inspired Harmony release.
Inspired by Fresh Coconut is priced at $185 and will roll out through selected retailers, The Macallan’s online boutique, and the Estate Boutique in Scotland. Inspired by Toasted Coconut carries the same price and is reserved for select global travel-retail locations.
