The Lynx 1957 Jaguar XKSS was re-imagined by Lynx Motors with aluminum body panels, an electronic ignition, a 30-gallon fuel tank, and an updated suspension based on XKE concepts. A 1964 Jaguar XKE was the source of the majority of the mechanical components with Lynx Motors rebuilding the inline-six, 4.2-liter engine with performance parts. A five-speed manual gearbox from Getrag and triple 45 DCOE carburetors from Weber aid in providing smooth, powerful performance.
This Jaguar’s smooth ride is afforded by the 16-inch Dunlop wheels and an upgraded suspension based on XKE specifications. Roll down the black Sonnerland soft top and slide into the rich red leather bucket seats for the ride of your life. Some repositioning of seat panels, as well as structural integration, provides more legroom. The split wood steering wheel is a quick-release version that offers an elegant contrast of textures and colors against the black upholstered dash behind it.
