Denmark-based eyewear brand, LINDBERG, has just unveiled its thintanium Collection, the brand’s lightest weight eyewear ever produced. The collection is named after the unusually thin, hypoallergenic titanium strips that make up the wire-thin frames. Weighing in at a mere .10 ounces, the patent-pending thintanium collection may well be the lightest full-plate titanium eyewear in the world today. Standing out in an understated way, the thintanium glasses lend a modern sleek look with their slim, distinctive frames. The collection features everything from modern round shapes to edged square designs.
The LINDBERG thintanium Collection looks essentially rimless but it still maintains the stability of a full titanium front. This is achieved by embedding the ultra-thin front in the groove of the lenses. One only needs to look closely to truly understand and appreciate this ingenious design. As with all of LINDBERG’s hinge designs, the thintanium eyewear collection is made without screws. The interlocking parts work by using friction, achieved by way of ultra-precision engineering. LINDBERG provides temple pieces that come in different lengths and are adjustable, making them easy to fit any face. The brand also offers different multi-adjustable ergonomic nose pads made from medical-grade silicone, designed to optimize comfort.
