This year marks the 100th year of Bauhaus, and this German company wasn’t going to miss the opportunity. Possibly the most minimalist of all camera companies, Leica is well-suited to celebrate this occasion.
Photography is both an art and a science, but so are the cameras; they too are a work of art and a marvel of science as well. Combining a classic, timeless design with the latest in modern engineering, the Leica CL “100 years of bauhaus” Edition features a black Leica dot, discreet “bauhaus” lettering on the black leather grip, and a special carrying strap with the same embossed lettering.
The specs are the same as the standard Leica CL with an APS-C size sensor, but this rightfully memorable edition is limited to only 150.
