One of LEGO’s latest kits is the LEGO Boutique Hotel, which is inspired by turn-of-the-20th-century European architecture. The Boutique Hotel is part of LEGO’s Modular Building Collection, which celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2022. It joins other sets in the collection, including the LEGO Police Station, the Assembly Square, and the LEGO Bookshop.
The 3,066-piece LEGO Boutique Hotel comprises five sections: the ground floor, featuring a lobby and an art gallery; the terrace, with an art gallery reception area; the first floor, with hotel rooms; a second floor, with a penthouse suite; and the roof with a decorative dome. Each hotel room and the public areas of the hotel feature distinct styles of furnishings related to the time period, and the art gallery has several tributes to Cubist art. Measuring at just over 13-inches high,10-inches wide, and 10-inches deep, the LEGO Boutique Hotel includes seven minifigures, including a bellhop, receptionist, coffee vendor, and gallery owner among the collection of hotel guests and staff. As of January 1st, 2022, the Boutique Hotel will be available to purchase.
