Tim Leatherman founded the Leatherman brand in 1983 to develop his revolutionary Pocket Survival Tool (PST), which featured 14 different tools including multiple screwdriver heads, a small saw, and a bottle opener.
Over the years, Leatherman has extended its line to include dozens of handy products. Its latest offering, the Leatherman Tread Tempo Multi-Tool Watch, is truly remarkable. Your can think of it as a PST that you can strap to your wrist!
The wristband of the Tread Tempo is a specially repurposed version of the Tread Bracelet that Leatherman originally released in 2016. When it isn’t attaching the Tread Tempo securely to your wrist, this incredible band can be easily dismantled to perform a variety of mechanical and general repair tasks. In addition to its watch-face base and clasp section, it features links with two pozi-drive heads, three wrenches, six screwdriver heads, a file, a strap cutter, and a bottle opener.
Of course, like all other watches, the Tread Tempo is also an indispensable time-keeping tool. A Leatherman-designed, Swiss-made timepiece, it is composed with scratch resistant sapphire crystal that provides water resistance to a depth of 200 meters.
