Seems like the premium laptop market has been dominated by the MacBook for quite a while. Those seeking a Windows machine that can match the premium quality of the MacBook were left wanting, but there’s a new player in the market that sets out to change all that.
Taking direct aim at the 12-inch MacBook, HP has revealed Spectre, the world’s thinnest laptop. With a striking design that is unlike any other laptop on the market, the HP Spectre even features its own stylized ‘HP’ logo to show off their design ambitions. The thin laptop has impressive performance that should outperform that of the MacBook thanks to Intel Core i5 or i7 processors. The 13-inch screen is finished with a durable edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass display, while sound is provided by dual speakers that has been made in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. Made for those Windows users that are design and weight conscious, the Spectre will hit stores on May 22.
