Ferrari has provided a sneak peek at its new F8 Tributo in advance of its official release at the Geneva International Motor Show this March, and the car seems every bit the worthy replacement for the beloved 488 GTB.
Although the F8 Tributo features the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 as the 488 GTB, Ferrari has significantly beefed up the powertrain to produce 50 extra units of horsepower and boost torque by 7 foot-pounds. It is also considerably lighter and more aerodynamic, enabling it to reach top speeds in excess of 210 miles per hour and go from 0 to 62 in less than three seconds.
Other advanced features of the F8 Tributo include a smaller/enhanced control steering wheel as well as next generation Ferrari Dynamic Enhancer and Side Slip Angle Control technology. It facilitates brake cooling thanks to air intakes on its slimmed-down LED headlights and engine cooling thanks to a Lexan rear screen with specially-designed louvers.
