The Italian motorbike company based in the historic city of Bologna, Ducati has been manufacturing innovative vehicles for more than 90 years. Over the decades, the company has maintained a reputation for creating bikes of sinuous and seductive design that can look great on the street and perform exceptionally well on the racetrack.
The latest addition to the Ducati line is the Scrambler Mach 2.0. Crafted in collaboration with the renowned Californian designer Roland Sands, this bike pays homage to Ducati’s historic legacy while evoking the world and ambience of the American West Coast of the 1970s. Ducati named the Scrambler Mach 2.0 in honor of the original Ducati Mach 1 250 — a bike that revolutionized motorcycling in the 1960s.
The Scrambler Mach 2.0 was also inspired by a particularly striking piece of apparel from Ducati’s 2017 Scrambler collection, borrowing both the coloration and style of the Bell Cross Idol helmet, featuring prominent twin stripes of bright yellow and light brown that run the entire body of the bike. It also features a jet-black exhaust cover and jet-black engine heads for its fuel injected, L-twin, desmodromic distribution motor. Other luxury elements of the Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 include a low variable cross-section aluminum handlebar, a Flat Track Pro dedicated leather seat, and Café Racer brushed fins.
