The man who sent shockwaves through the baking world with the 2013 creation of the Cronut, French-born pastry chef Dominique Ansel has continued to innovate, using his eponymous New York City bakery as what just might be the most delicious laboratory in the world.
In honor of the holiday season, Dominique Ansel has presented a cluster-bomb of Christmastime flavors in his Christmas Morning Cereal. He starts with crispy puffed rice and covers it with caramelized milk chocolate. Then he adds whole caramelized hazelnuts and a few of his famous Mini Me’s. Second only to his legendary Cronut, Mini Me (short for “miniature meringues”) have been a Dominique Ansel Bakery favorite in a variety of flavors. For his Christmas Morning Cereal, Dominique Ansel adds a distinctive smoked cinnamon Mini Me.
Christmas Morning Cereal will drop in limited amounts on Friday, November 30. You can snag some online or at any of the three Dominique Ansel Bakery locations in New York City, Los Angeles, and London.
